The Eagles are arguably one of the most famous rock bands from the ‘70s. The Eagles formed in 1971 in Los Angeles, CA. The founding members were the late Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, and Randy Meisner. Frey passed away in 2016, and his son Deacon Frey has taken over his role so that the band can continue touring and performing while commemorating Frey’s legacy. The Eagles have won six Grammys. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. Their debut, self-titled album dropped in 1972. The bands quickly followed their debut with ‘Desperado’ in 1973, ‘On the Border’ in 1974, and ‘One of These Nights’ in 1975. In 1976, their iconic ‘Hotel California’ dropped with the title track set to become one of the biggest rock songs in the history. It would be three years until ‘The Long Run’ dropped in 1979. Then, the band disbanded. Decades would pass until new music came from the Eagles. Lineup changes throughout the years saw Grey, Leadon, Meisner, and Felder all leaving the band while Joe Walsh and Timothy Schmit joined. In 2007, the band released ‘Long Road Out of Eden.’ After the passing of Frey and the lineup change with his son, the Eagles are back. The new lineup debuted at The Classic East and The Classic West in 2017. Get the Eagles tickets to see the iconic rock band live in 2018!
