The Los Angeles Clippers, or the LA Clippers, are a NBA team based in Los Angeles, CA. They are part of the Western Conference Pacific Division and play home games at LA's legendary Staples Center. The Staples Center is located in the heart of LA. The Clippers were originally called the Buffalo Braves when the team was founded in 1970. Later in the '70s, the team moved to San Diego and changed to the San Diego Clippers. It wasn't until 1984 that the team moved to LA. In 2017, the team signed a deal with the city of Inglewood to build a new arena that will open by 2024.
Fun Fact: The Clippers share a home arena with the L.A. Lakers, who are one of their biggest rivals.
